Tracking
Tracking Reports
Tracking reports are one of the ways we, as a school, communicate the level of attainment each student is making at a particular time of the year to parents. They are issued to students at the end of every term and outline the progress students are making in each of the subjects they study. This happens at both Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. Tracking reports include students’ current attainment, their end of year or Key Stage target, their predicted end of year or Key Stage target and whether, in eyes of their teachers, they are making the expected level of progress.
Every student in school is set individual targets based on levels of entry at KS2. These targets are set by Fischer Family Trust Category D (FFTD), which means they are set in line with the top 25% of schools nationally. These targets are reviewed and amended, where necessary, at the end of Year 9 according to levels of performance during their time at Aireville. This means that every child’s targets are set to achieve the best grades possible, irrespective of ability at Key Stage 2, at the end of Key Stage 4 in order to get the best possible start in their adult life in whatever career path they choose to follow.
